New Support Champion?

I have started this discussion in order to bring Riot's attention to the role of support. The last champion that was categorized as "Support," was Thresh.Since then, Riot has released five new champions, soon to be six;Jinx. All of the champions released after Thresh have been anything but support, including two Marksman (AD Carry) and two "junglers."

One could assume that the next champion released would pertain to the support category, however Jinx, has just been announced as the next champion being released. Since the community does not know much about Jinx at this point in time, we cannot say what class Jinx will fall into, however we can speculate that Jinx will not fall into the support category.

As of now there seems to be no pattern to the types of champions being released into the live environment, and champions are seemingly being continuously released based on if they are completed and ready for testing, and not what the community needs. However, I am not involved in any way to beta testing or feedback, so I cannot claim that Riot is senselessly pumping out champions (they of course have a constructed system) however I feel that Riot should implement a "Champion Feedback," function, where players can offer opinions on future champions. (Note that I am aware of general discussion and idea forums, however there is not a designated area for this type of feedback.)

In conclusion, Riot should release a new support champion, open PBE Sign-up for opinionated and curious players like me ;), and designate a space for future champion feedback.
