Previous pre-seasons
I devoted the entire day today to playing league to see how I feel about the changes. I, played about 15 games across my 3 accounts. Game feels too easy when you get even a little bit ahead, and is super depressing when you're a little bit behind because it's just so hard to come back.
Last season I knew we always had a chance, enemy teams could always throw or make a mistake that would get us back in the game. Turrets feel too weak now though, making a poor dive doesn't seem to punish teams like it used to, and early 15-18 minute team fights that go poorly seem to result in 2-3 towers + inhibitor before anyone on the team that lost the fight can respawn.
It also feels like a lot of champions who depend on a few items before they really got going are unplayable. It's just too big of a risk that you won't even get to the point in the game where you have the items you need before the game is already over.
Basically, to sum it up, win or lose I seemed to be having less and less fun each game today, and I feel like it's unplayable atm. I was wondering about people who have been around for previous pre-seasons. How long does it take for Riot to typically balance things out? I haven't been around for previous pre-seasons so I don't have that experience.
I'm pretty confident they will turn things around and make it a fun game again. Basically the reason for posting this is to ask how long you guys thing it will be before Riot finds the right balance. Looking forward to coming back and having some good games then.
