Riot fix the leaverbuster system

In my last game i got the "attempting to reconnect" screen 34 mins through the game. I waited patiently for 15 mins until i got annoyed and i pressed the quit button. The first screen that shows up is the end game chat and on it, it said "leaver" in big red letters and in the chat my teammates said to report me for leaving. Of course everyone was gone when i showed up. Why should I be penalized for the servers crashing on me? Why doesn't the game send a message to other people saying you have bad reception? Why does the game treat it as if I left even though I was there the whole time? I doubt I'm the only person having this problem so can you please fix the leaverbuster system.
