1.) Don't be quick to rage: I know this one can be a difficult one to work on, but when someone makes a bad play or buys an item you disagree with, for instance? Don't yell. Help them. Offer a suggestion of how to land that play better or an item you think might help them play better as a whole. Because working as a team and helping one another with not just how the match goes, but how to play their champ in whatever lane it is, and I mean help/constructive criticisms, can help you conquer.

2.) Don't forget that comebacks ARE possible: I see this one become an issue so often! People get discouraged when they enemy team is leading or their team loses a team fight or they just miss a play. The match could be 2-15 and you could come back from it, it's all about teamwork! Keep your head up and stay positive [ as Lux says ] -- and remember it's just a game -- cause you might just manage to win it even if you got behind at first.

3.) DON'T BLAME EVERY MISTAKE ON YOUR SUPPORT: I see this as an even more popular issue than the prior one. Your Support can actually be someone who can help you to victory or drag you down -- it's often all about how you treat them. Don't blame that Nami for KS as though she stole it when she just healed you and her heal bounced damage, treat it as a 'kill secure'. Don't rage at that Sona who hasn't had a chance to go B for new wards because she's trying to sustain your lane with you. Ask for new wards if you really need it, and play safe while your Support gets them. It's never inappropriate to ask a Support for something, just do it as you would prefer to be spoken to cause kindness/appreciation/respect is just as OP as Teamwork.

4.) Stay positive! This is a key tip because when you have a positive attitude? It can reflect and spread to the rest of the team. Keep up those 'GJ's for good plays and kills! Keep up those heals and pings for health packs to those who need them for the next team fight in ARAM! Offer thanks when your teammate helps you out of a tight spot! All these positive actions and words can very well be what carry your team to victory.

Now lastly, if you have any positive or helpful tips or advice that you've garnered in your play experience? Feel free to post'em here as well!

I wish everyone who played LOL read this :) People need to calm down and remember, there's a person on the other side of the computer screen and people make mistakes.

haha, as someone who mains support and is still relatively new to the game, it makes me so happy when i see people write stuff like #3. Even at my level I can't count the number of times we've won bot lane simply because my adc and I were on the same page and never raged. even if you lose tower you can still end up winning the game so long as you stick together and coordinate. thanks for posting!! - happy support player

Nice overall general advice. I find, however that the role that is blamed the most is primarily jungler. Generally speaking, most people understand that a support will have little impact on the game as a whole (even though they really determine whether your team will win or not in the long run). When a team is doing badly, I notice most people blaming their plays on the jungler and their "lack of presence".

I also completely understand what you mean about comebacks. I with that the surrender system were only really to be used as a mercy rule (with either one team being up 10k gold on the enemy team or a team missing a player), I have often found that the game is really still completely even until one team has destroyed an inhibitor. Then, after that you really have to pay attention to how the game has gone. For example, if you haven't even gotten outer-mid turret yet they have destroyed your mid inhib, perhaps you might consider surrendering. Either way, it really frustrates me when my team surrenders because early game didn't go well, but we still haven't had a teamfight and we still have all three inhibitors.
