AI updates in the patch?

So, I played a custom game earlier and I noticed that the bots' teamwork seemed a LOT better than before the patch, and they were also better in general. I actually got gangbanged in the jungle by 3 of them, which I've never seen happen before, and they seemed to be helping each other out a lot more than before the patch

In fact, they seemed so good that I actually typed in all chat at one point and asked if they were real people acting like bots

But that's not the only thing. I played an actual co-op game a few minutes ago where one of my teammates dc'd, and it seemed like Darius, who was supposed to be top, afk'd because of it. There was only one bot top and I never even saw Darius until we were destroying their Nexus turrets. And I could be wrong here, but one of the bots was Jarvan IV, and I may just not remember, but I don't think I've ever seen a Jarvan as a bot

I don't remember reading anything about AI updates in the patch notes, so could somebody tell me if they did in fact update the AI and make them a lot better and realistic? And don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I think it's awesome if they did do that because the bots have always been really dumb and boring and I think it'd be cool as hell if Riot did make them not so dumb and boring
