League of Legends Match History

I played 5 games tonight with my friends and we had a great time. In the 5th game, while loading the game crashed and I had to reconnect. Something about my firewall but I knew that was bullshit and just kept trying to reconnect until eventually, I was able to rejoin.

I came back into the game and things were dismal. The 4v5 left my team drowning and we had already lost an inhibitor. Shit. Anyway, I'm level 1 and I'm playing Nasus so... I go to lane and try to catch up.

9 Minutes later, I last hit the enemy nexus with a final score of 5-0-14. Bark. I am doge.

Then, 1 minute later - I get a message from Leaver Buster saying I was getting a warning and I need to type "I agree" [to never leave again or else I'm suspended].

What the hell. The servers fucked up for a sec. I changed 0 settings on my computer. I reconnected ASAP. Then I carried the fuck out of my team who was very behind and pushed all the way to victory nearly single handedly with Nasus' powerful Siphoning Strikes. I was so pleased I thought I deserved some savior medal and got honored for teamwork all around. But then I get "Leaver Busted".

Get the hell out of here Riot. No more automated bullshit unless you can tune it. Not a single person reported me for AFK. I was HONORED. Yet your system said I was toxic for carrying and winning the game. Fuck you.

I totally agree, the new LB is far too heavy handed to be an automated system. I'm just glad Lyte is not in charge of anything in the legal system, I could only imagine getting the death penalty because some automated system he designed said so even after the jury said innocent.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but it is getting extremely irritating. He's punishing people who don't deserve it, which is against the golden rule that Americas legal system was founded off of. They'd rather let 10 guilty men go free than to imprison 1 innocent one in the real world, so why is it different here?

I appreciate that Riot wants all the league games to be fair, which requires teamwork, but trying to enforce it this heavily isn't helping that. I'd say it's even actually hindering it in some ways. I can't even count the number of times I've been told I was being reported over nothing, simply because a person was ticked off at a decision I made, just because they didn't get what they wanted. "OMG YOU NO GANKED TOP I REPOT U!" K, but I secured dragon and pushed mid and bot outer turret, that's worth more than giving one person a slight power spike, especially if they're already losing their lane anyway, however this guy feels like he can get what he wants by simply saying he'll report me if I don't do what he says. This is the same as a child saying he'll call the cops if his mother doesn't bake him a cake RIGHT THIS INSTANT. This is a problem, yet Riot doesn't seem to acknowledge it as one.

I can deal with this though. I've never been punished, so I assume I've not done anything overly wrong in the tribunals eyes. However, adding this new LB system on top of all the false report threats makes this whole thing get a lot more annoying for people who don't deserve punishments because it just automatically affects everybody no matter what.

I've heard that they're toying with another idea of handing out rewards for good behaviour, so I can only hope that this will somehow remedy the situation a little bit at least, but I can't be too hopeful after the entire honor system flopped.

I gave up trying get riot to fix their flawed system.. At this point i'm just laughing now because of how much money riot has got to be missing out on because of people leaving this game to play other games simply because they refuse to fix a known flawed system.

This leaverbuster system is retarded. The simplest way to deal with it is to do EXACTLY what HoN and almost every other MOBA does: Punish the person who left with severe MMR losses. Forgive everyone else.

Yeah this automated system is BS. The only time I AFK is when someone else rage quits or starts feeding hopelessly, then I go off and do something else worthwhile. People are going to ragequit and disconnect innocently, it's a fact of life. fuck this shit

The intended (and poorly expressed) message of that pop-up warning is that leaving can lead to sanctions. It's not necessarily a "we'll get you next time" message, nor does it necessarily represent the actual standing of your account according to Leaverbuster.

In fact, it's a 1-time pop-up that shows only after the first time you disconnect/leave/afk - or at least the first time since the new Leaverbuster was turned on.

They really need to get someone to rewrite that stupid thing, tbh. I think the wording of that message is causing more issues with the perception of this version of Leaverbuster than Lyte's thread about it - which was downvoted into oblivion, so that's saying something.

I got kicked out of one game halfway through and violently tried to reconnect for 15 minutes with no avail. I got the message saying "promise you'll never leave a game again". And I was furious, the game was telling me I left on purpose when it knew I got kicked because it kept attempting to reconnect me. You would think the system would check if people leave are trying to get back in or not. I saw people posting that they DID reconnect, but still got in trouble from Leaver Buster. Between this and all the issues people are having since last patch, Riot needs to step their game up.

A simple way to fix it would be only have the leaver system do something when two or more players report another player for afking or leaving.

I have been having the same kind of issues. I was late coming into the game by about 3 minutes. Then I was disconnected 4 more times for about 3 minutes each time during the game. My internet isn't down. I'm not sure how well it's keeping connected to Riot or if it's something to do with Riot's servers but I'm innocent in trying to play and win. Yet I'm now being punished by being placed in a lower queue priority for the next 5 games. That's just plain bs. Here they claim they want to use positive reinforcement but they can't even determine who actually needs to be punished and who does not. Go after the rage quitters not those that because their computer is have a hiccup or their isp is a little slow keeping up at that time or that your own servers are having issues.
