When you decide to hit the play button, and accept for matchmaking or hit ready for teambuilder, you're making a commitment to your team and to the game to carry it out to the end and, hopefully, put some effort in trying to play well (not saying to ACTUALLLY win, because that will all vary on actual skill and decsion-making) so when you decide to start playing the match, you're saying that you're ready to play the game and see it through.
of course there are exceptions such as things that require urgent or immediate attention in real life, or other harmful things, sure. is someone bleeding? ok take a moment to go see if they need some serious help or medical attention. Got a headache? ok take a minute to see if you can find your aspirin or something. Gona grab something from the fridge super quick? ok let everyone know you're gona brb a sec and recall so you don't get smacked out in the middle of the map.
League of Legends is, for better or for worse, a VERY competitive game, with people trying to constantly out-perform the competition and winning the game. What's the point of playing a game if you're not trying to win? Especially in a game where you're playing as a team and the other members of that team depend on you to play a part in helping them out. For some, they are lucky and manage to have a team member who is just pretty damn good and can carry a 4v5 game and win it thanks to their mechanical skills and decision-making skills., and sometimes because someone on the other team is rather lacking in those areas and messes it up for their own teama
But if you're going to decide to just leave the game whenever you feel like or because you want to, Just uninstall the game then. You'll be saving the rest of your team the hassle of having to put up with your selfish attitude. There are plenty of other games out there that won't require you to play with a team of other people so you won't have to worry about people being unhappy with you for leaving. I just hope that if it IS a game you can team up with other people that there isn't a pk function, for your sake.
