Yasuo's... tooltip?

Specifically, for Yasuo's ult, "For 15 seconds, Yasuo gains 50% Bonus Armor Penetration - this effects armor from items, buffs, runes and masteries." I have played League since around March of 2013. I'm hardly even a good player; I currently reside in Silver 5. I very much enjoy playing, and appreciate the almost professional feel I get when participating in the aforementioned playing. League, for all its "balance" problems, I think is a pretty well-done game, from lore to gameplay. Thus, my plummeting disappointment when reading about Yasuo's ult. This could already be something that you, Riot, know about, and it could even already be fixed, ready to deploy in the next patch. However, since I want to make sure this apparent error is of made known, I post this. I am hardly a master in English grammar, and I could be wrong, but am fairly confident that the "effects" should in fact be "affects". "Effect" is almost always a noun. When it is not, it is used to describe a change that was brought about; for instance, "I was a slightly downcast about this apparent grammar breach, but realized that I could effect a positive change by bringing this matter to Riot's attention." I, and all the self-proclaimed "grammar nazis" who play League of Legends, thank you for hopefully taking this change in spelling under consideration. If I am indeed wrong, and the tooltip-thing is correct as-is, I would appreciate being notified thereof. Thanks for your time! Humbly, Lotre1111

Im pretty sure the tooltip is correct as-is. It's saying that the activation of his ult is having an effect on such items as Sunfire Cape or Randuin's Omen. Because, in the proceeding sentence, "effect" is correct rather than "affect", "effect" is correct in the tooltip, as you wouldn't change a word when they mean slightly different things. It's not dissimilar to how "She is stronger than I," is a correct sentence, even though it appears as wrong. You wouldn't change "I" to "me" because then when you add the rest, that being "am strong" in this case, you would then be wrong. Same idea here, if you change it, you're wrong when you look at it properly.
