So am I just unlucky, or ...

do Silvers not like to group up? Namely the Silver III's upward. It was all fine in Bronze, and even with the silver V's, but now that I'm being matched with III's, I can't get them to stop fighting long enough to group up and push a lane. I support a lot, so it's not like I can just carry on my own. I actually need them to group up so I can do my thing and help them win the game.

For just a little bit more background, my games go something like this: Bot has an issue, another lane/jungler makes a comment. Bot flames, other lanes flame, towers are lost, everyone splits up, we lose. And that's how it's been going in a nutshell.

Are you sure it's not the opposite and you just got really lucky from Bronze up till Silver III?

I do think you have a point. I spent all of Season 3 in Bronze, and managed to break into Silver just after the end of the season. No shiny border for me :(

Anyway, far as I can tell, the Silver players all think they're basically pro players. They haven't quite figured out that they're quite far away from it. So, since they're all pro, whenever a "Bronze" player accidentally finds themselves in Silver, the players are quick to point it out so that they don't let anyone tarnish their Silver reputation.

For example, in my promo series to get into Silver, I was playing with and against all Silver players. I took Galio mid (Galio pulled me out of Bronze, by the way), and I got stale-mated by a Cho'Gath. Neither of us died and both of us farmed a lot. However, a well-farmed Cho is far more devastating than a well-farmed Galio. I couldn't compete when it came time for team fights.

"You belong in Bronze." was one of the nicer ways my teammates put it. Before the match, they were all complimentary about my series and said they would be helpful. I was hardly the reason we lost, though Cho had a lot to do with the aggression the other team got away with.

I blasted through my next 3 games and won every one of them. I also climbed straight into Silver IV within a few days after adopting that fearsome Cho'Gath back into my rotation.

TLDR: Silver players are struggling with middle-class syndrome where they know they are better than some, but jealous of those above them and feeling like it's bad luck that keeps them from advancing.

I think AMAK hit it on the nail. There are a lot of silver players who think they are the best and what they say is the law. Most of the time they have a lot to learn. The problem with silver, same as bronze, is a lot of people start ranked there. I have played ranked all 3 seasons. Slowly getting better and playing more. Some even get carried through the first provisional games and make Gold. Then look, you have a Gold V player with a bronze mmr. Sometimes you get lucky and get a good team, sometimes you just hope for the best. Adapt and overcome.

i had quiet a few decent month of games at the start of the season i was in silver. i lost it due to lack of playing more or less because i couldn't afford internet to play for few months when i finally picked up the game again i was in bronze and these people do nothing but fight or troll or rant and rage making it really had to get anything done. besides that it kinda annoying be in game and you'll get that player that sit there on lol king site and rip on you for ur previous games. ive had anywhere from people will follow your to just steal ur farm to telling ur position away to the enemy because of some minion immature thing. feel like bronze is full of 5 year olds.
