Maintenance out of nowhere

Can we get a few minutes notice before this happens? I literally just started a ranked game and I couldn't connect, I come here to see this maintenance is happening. Me and 3 others (1 on my team 2 on theirs) just didn't connect for about 10 minutes or longer. We won simply because we reconnected first and just pushed mid. I understand if it is not in your control, but since this is a planned maintenance, is it that hard to let us know before hand? They still got loss prevented though which is nice
