The problems of bronze Unearthed. Part 2: "Report me because you suck." or "Report me? for carrying?
This one is way more general, it applies to all people. not just bronze. but in this ELO you run into the worst of the worst. So much so I just cant find it in me to play ranked anymore, but the problems still arise.
take my last game as a champion im currently working on perfecting... Xin. By no means an i a perfect Xin. but i did do my job as jg. I put vision everywhere, I suceffully ganked each lane multiple times even at the expense of my own EXP.... Veigar and Blitzcrank had other plans though. Little did I know they didn't want to play, they wanted to make the game a living hell.... and you know it's bad when you win a game and really wish you didnt. Here's the Game. I fell off super hard, but still did what i could to help. including but not limited to... during the game they were calling everyone else names. they were being genuinely rude... as if [Veigar] calling somebody a "pathetic little fuck" would make them want to play better. mind you, this was quite literally out of nowhere. they just started being toxic. it started with a few "STFUs" from both and then went into something so much worse...
no i didnt mute them. im a better person than that. I simply laughed it off. but i did ask something of the rest of the team and the enemy team. "just report them, plz. win or lose"
Here's the deal, guys.
We play this game for fun. We do it as a Hobby. And I as well as many others, simply expect better behavior from others. It's called following the summoner's code. When you come in and make me feel like a piece of shit because you dont know how to control your E-go, or rage or whatever, I really dont want you to win anymore. No this is not on purpose. Trinimortal summed it up best "Man this guy is a complete asshole..... IM GOING TO TRY MY BEST AND HELP HIM WIN" Will I Try? yes. but i won't enjoy it... and thats what makes people play worse.
I've been banned twice for not following the Summoner's Code, and thus actively work to change myself for the better... even when im on full tilt mode. regardless. If i act like a buffoon I want you to report me. Likewise, if you act like a buffoon, if you want to make the game toxic and unfun for somebody else. turning 40 minutes with that person into absolute torture win or lose? that's dispicable, and should NEVER be allowed. If somebody is getting RUTHLESSLY bashed and thus AFKs, I wont report them for the AFK. Nobody should have to sit there and take that kind of abuse in a team game, and you should be ashamed if you shout "report them" after YOU actively made them AFK.
It's not "being a baby" to expect better from the leauge community. It is not QQ to want people who disregard the rules to be punished. If somebody says "reported" it's probably because you are being toxic... not because - as the saying goes - you are "carrying". I dont care how hard you think you're "carying". if you have a bajillion deaths, if you are actively making your team more upset. **YOU ARE NOT CARRYING. ** you are a detriment, and one of the biggest.
League is a game with psychology fully at work, if you screw around with peoples mood, you are actively making them play worse. not better. that's what heckling your opponent is - so why do it to your own teammate? if you do this often. you deserve a permaban. Simple.
And I and many others will report you.
And for the love of god Riot... Bring back the tribunal already.
