FFS Witcher 2 Combat

Holy shit I hate the combat responsiveness.

Mashing Quen sign in a corner while Letto is about to chop me to pieces and all Geralt does is stand there for 2 seconds while I mash Key '8'.

Letto spams his damaging Igni/Aard sign - he Signs me , I manage to semi-dodge his oncoming sword, he then Signs me again as I run up to him and I get thrown back, i manage to Quen right before he Aard/Igni but then he swings right after...
