The problem with chat restriction...

We all have those games where we lose our nerve because we feel someone on our team is being obnoxious/toxic and we decide to tell them to "shut the fuck up" or "quit being a bitch" or even something more mature. When we are reported for 'negative attitude' or 'verbal abuse' and are given chat restriction, it's no surprise and is fully deserved.

HOWEVER: The problem with chat restriction is the fact that we are SEVERELY limited to using team chat and thus can not communicate as often as WE SHOULD. Players usually ignore pings (yes, they do... SHOCK!!!) and don't always know the meaning behind the ping. Communication is extremely difficult when chat restriction is active.

All chat should definitely be restricted from chat restricted players, but there should be a better way of handling this. The chat should be set up to where, if you are spamming or using curse words in chat, you should then immediately be limited in team chat.

Time to be selfish:

It is hard when, someone like me, is restricted from (cough...) 500 consecutive games and has to wait 4 minutes before I can say ANYTHING to my team.
