explaing competitveness

Nobody really understands the difference between being competitive/ranked/and normals and I can explain it because im actually competitive have been high ranking in every global major game i play LoL, CoD, cs go ect. Now that ive gotten older ive understood how ranked should be and the mentality to create a quality environment for everyone else.

lets start with meaning whats the point of ranked/competitive? its fun to see how good you are and how much better you can get against equal skilled opponents. So how is this different from normal games? It shows the skill of people starting on an even playing field and seeing who can do the most with that even ground everyone starts with. Normal games are where you can just play for fun or test stuff out do whatever you really wanna do without effecting competitive people. So whats competitive? the drive to be better and want to be better than others or improve. So why would you want players who dont care play for fun or do random stuff in your competitive game? You wouldnt. Which makes me believe alot of players playing ranked are not competitive players and are in the wrong game mode. Alot of players say you should be able to have fun in ranked/comp game modes and you sould but it is different which people dont understand. In normals you should just want to have fun to play the game, but for ranked the fun should be in trying your best to win the game to either be a better player or to conquer your opponent. Start learning the difference so you can choose the right game mode for you so not only do you not waste your own time but so you dont ruin other peoples time and games as well whe it is easily avoidable if you just understand the meanings of the words.

Tldr being competitive is wanting to improve,trying your best and conquering your opponent, this is who competitive players have fun. aka ranked mode playing for fun not caring if you lose or win just to have a good time and kill some time AKA normals.

learn the difference and pick accordingly so you dont ruin be a selfish prick and ruin other peoples times for no reason when you can have a grand ol time where you belong instead (:
