Is there a way to counter caitlyn in lane?

I think in lane it just comes down to who you are and how well you dodge any Qs she throws out.

Passed that, most ADCs should outscale her. I'd recommend aiming for an evenish lane than outright countering her from an ADC perspective.

From a supports side, I think anyone who can sustain or anyone who can outpoke her counter her, but from there it depends on her support as well.

So for champion picks, I'd recommend Soraka, Nami, Taric, Lulu. They'll all either sustain or keep her from killing you with her ult at 6 without the need to body block the bullet if it came down to it.

If you want to poke her back as an ADC, Varus and Ashe should do the trick. They both have fairly spammable poke and ults that will lock her down if a gank comes. Sivir as well, for her spellshield and her ult to engage or disengage as needed.

Can't rely on ganks or counter-picking.

Can't decide if you're saying she can't be counterpicked, or that the laning phase is hard to counter her in.

Caitlyn excels at being being safe and poking. Now, think of supports who do that

Now think of their counters.

The theory is similar, so you're going to want adc's who have higher dps. If you're looking for late game, is a good choice. For a strong early-mid game, is excellent. And is all around a good choice as well against Caitlyn.

Get a Mundo as a support and cleave-a-hoe.

If you can't be Draven, grab people on your team that can chase her down.

If you're getting poked hard in lane, instead of will allow you to recover life after trades and make you much harder to push out of lane.
