@Riot : I think I've found a way to help the new player experience.
At least for those who are introducing our friends to the game.
Tldr: Let us bind our lvl 30 account to our new friend's account for the games we play with them so that we have the same runes and masteries available as the lower level player.
This way, the new players at least won't have to lane vs someone who even beats them in a right-click party lvl 1.
In addition, it will reduce the amount of "new smurfs" since someone no longer needs to create an alternate account to give their friend fairer matchmaking based on levels.
So, I'm sure most people have encountered that bug on teambuilder where if you check someone's profile while in the lobby you'll "get" their rune pages if you check them (they are yours but theirs show up).
This bug got me thinking that if Riot could intentionally set that up for players; with the addition of giving the higher lvl account access to only the champions of the lower lvl account, it would make a great queue for new players.
This way when the new player only has a couple of champions and their friend gets higher pick they can grab the champ for them and trade (higher lvl is likely better at instalocking :D jk.) The idea is that the games wont be as bad of a stomp this way and we won't have people with level 20 to 30 resources squaring off against level 5s.
Anyways, tell me what you guys think! Would this solve the problem enough to be worth; what have I overlooked, help me solve this please. ![]()
