what did you expect? diamond elo? your placements mean very little, its mostly about your mmr from last season, and if you never played ranked silver 5 is pretty much the standard elo to be dropped in. even if you go 0-10 in placements you only place 1 or 2 divisions lower at max.

If it is your first time ever playing ranked 8 wins will place you in low gold. But if you did ranked last season you'll end up slightly lower than where you were last season
