If you read the universal rules, it clearly states the following:
Please don't report a potentially misbehaving player in these boards. If you see or hear about another person breaking the rules, send us a ticket directly so we can investigate and take action if necessary. We’ll be taking action against players who have violated rules, so please report these players correctly
To report a player that is hacking and/or misbehaving, use this link and submit a Ticket with all the proper information.

I had to learn this the hard way as well. A friend of mine had their thread removed for the same reason, so I did some research.
