3 v 5 Server side lag....... ANNNND no loss prevented

Title says it all. my last game was probably one of the worst ranked experiences ive ever had. the entire laning phase through mid game my ping sporadically shot up to over 300 restarting over and over again barely helped. We lost Talon. 3 people in the team had to "reconnect"..... nobody is feeling good. we lose.

something that hit everyone on the team. and now i have to endure full LP loss for something that wasn't any of our faults. What about that is fair?

I want my LP back.

On another topic. if somebody doesn't connects from the beginning of the game, why not just end the game after 10 minutes with loss prevented. Nobody wants to start a game 4 v 5, even Riot themselves have claimed it's Unfair to all 9 other players. Why not just end the game. Prevent loss, halve LP loss for the DC, and bar them from ranked for a day? is it seriously that hard to implement something like this?
