Longer status messages

Maybe this is will come across to some as a really useless idea, but something that ALWAYS irked me has nothing to do with the game itself, but in the friends list menu. The status message only allows for 25 characters, that's not even a full sentence. In fact, I can't even write, 'This is 25 characters' into my status bar before it stops me. Me and many of my friends use this status bar to pose questions or make announcements, and being unable to write a full sentence is kind of frustrating.

Feedback? Anyone else support this small adjustment?
