My Friend Wanted Me To Share This With All Of You
Friend's name is iDantes, he was forum banned so he can't post this, I'm at his house and just watched his game. Here's a little backstory
He started in Season 4, back then, he wasn't that good a player but thought he really was great (almost everyone's mentality ;)) anyways, he got placed Silver 4 after winning 4 out of his 10 placement matches. He then lost a lot and got demoted to bronze 5. (Had something like a 40 or 30% WR) After dropping to B5, he learned more about the game, finished the season bronze 4 and finished preseason bronze 1.
Next was Season 5. He won 6 out of his 10 placements and got placed bronze 5. Anyways, he started to climb extremely fast. His KDAs, win rates, AND cs was getting higher. Funniest thing though, is that his brother always wanted to be superior to him. When he reached Silver 5 his brother's words were not of encouragement, but the complete opposite, he said ''You're bad and you will get demoted''
He finished that season Silver 2, and finished preseason Silver 1. He wants me to tell you all how on the last day of the actual season he was something like Silver 2 89 LP and just needed about an 8 win streak to put him in Gold. What he wanted more than anything was the border, he said that ''People only start respecting you when you get that yellow border'' needless to say, he went on a losing streak and didnt achieve it.
Now, Season 6. He started the season Bronze 1. Within a week he made it out and got Silver 3. He pretty much blew through all of Silver and low Gold (5/4) within a few months. It was at Gold 3/2/1 that he was stuck, Gold 1 mainly for about 2 months.
He wanted me to write how back in Season 4, he had to write a letter for his future self. (5 years in the future he would receive the letter back) League was such a factor in his life that he wrote ''I hope you got Gold''.
Anyways, that's just his story, feel free to post any of yours, we'd both be very happy to read some
Also, don't write how ''Season 6 doesn't count it's a clown fiesta'' because honestly, not everyone in the game thinks that ranking means nothing and plays with premades.
