Riots next projects

Well as many people know, Riot has had the market cornered in terms of having a very large piece of the pie for MOBAs. So much a piece in fact, that it was report they made over 1.6 billion dollars in 2015. That number is just staggering, considering the game is free to play, and if you also consider how old the game actually is. World of Warcraft experiences a very similar dominance of the MMORPG genre, though their grasp has been slipping more and more quickly of late, shown by their revenue the past several years, in comparison to their nearest competition. Why I bring all of this up. .

Riot Games has stated on many occasions that they wanted to make more than just League of Legends. I do not know a ton about making video games, but I think making a billion or more a year for several years, would be more than enough to become a gaming development titan, like EA, Ubisoft have been and Bethesda more recently. I would really like to see a few more games, be they RPG's, Strategy, or a combination of those with say the action genre. I think a lot of people would really enjoy learning more about the lore of the game world, by playing an RPG, or a multiplayer Action-RPG type game something in the form of that Marvel Heroes 2016 game. Being able to use the champions in that type of game, but fighting in the real world for the various countries and factions, would really be cool.

So has anyone heard if Riot is putting that large capital they earn yearly, into making some more games? I know they do a lot of research and development for League itself, but I haven't heard any specifics. Thanks for any info and. . .

. . . I also added a simple survey poll down there.. If you could take a moment to weigh in on what you think the best direction for Riot Games to head in with their next game project. Assuming they were going to ask their players what game they should make next, look at the choices and choose what you would recommend they do next.
