Yorick Rework thoughts after playing
I like it. it's overpowered as can be (i think yorick needs less health scaling and more attack damage - i had 5k hp and was destroying - not to mention you can build attack speed and lifesteal and wreck everything with it, but it might just be because people arent familiar with it yet) i can play any lane - ANY lane and still be effective. i hate how popular he is now - basically pick or ban. pretty much any keystone from the green tree is good enough for him however i did try warriors bloodlust on him it was "eh". it's annoying how if i attack something in lane my minions start running down the lane. that can be horribly uncool if im jungling. overall he's a pretty decent champion. feels really unique however i did get the feeling of his Q being a lot like nasus as far as utility and mechanics go. i was suprised at how close i had to be in order to use his W wall. it caught me off guard and almost got me killed a few times from the whole "auto movement cast" thing. i've found that there's no point in building ability power unless you just want to buy rylias and liandrys for the slows and damage over time. it might help considering the R mist lady does magic damage, but it's based on HP and AD so honestly... i feel like you'd be better off just building blade of the ruined king or black cleaver or titanic hydra. casting spells is constant for him because you can kite with his Q. i've done it to a yi who was a bit over-zelous. i ended up killing him by trapping him with my W under our teams turret. HOWEVER i did have trouble against kled. no amount of armor could save me from his damage. no amount of damage and healing could keep me alive. and my Q/W/E/R always messed up when he fell off of his mount. and since it's kled i always had to 2v1 any time he engaged at the very least.
verdict - probably going to be nerfed. unique and interesting but the effect is familiar and the appeal is lost soon after playing.
