Why do people get so mad if a support is getting kills... if their ADC dies, or if they're in team fight, it's gonna happen and everyone, including the other team, gets all butthurt and starts calling KS on the support. Sorry, but the perfect 0/0/ALLTEAMKILLS score is really hard to achieve. And when your support gets a quadra kill in a team fight, be happy they shut down someone who is "unstoppable" and turned the game in your team's favor rather than rage at them. Supports are supposed to support the team, I get it, but when we get kills, trust me, we don't purposely try and KS from you, and we're trying to help.

As an ADC main i don't care if I get the kill or you get the kill. As long as the enemy is dead I am good, but if you are deliberately trying to do it then I will get mad

I feel ya, but sometimes when I get that double botlane as a support, I just feel awkward and embarrassed.....

Sona my main problem with this is not always the first or maybe even the second kill, but after that point if the adc im playing with is getting mad, or maybe is low lv, dosent have all their runes, isnt a burst adc, whatever...

and while i am buying support items, my ap is starting to stack early, and im a poke support.... it sometimes just keeps happening .... funny thing is, if i dont poke em down in those fights, my adc dies.... whats a support to do but keep on supporting the adc.... even if they dont understand its for their own good you are attacking the enemy adc

ah well, we all have to learn when and when not to attack, something i can always improve on... till then though...

as someone who usually is either an adc or a support, let me just say this. being a support is hard. you have to wait a huge amount of time just to get your first builds, and after that, it'll take even longer. ADCs don't have as big of an issue, as long as you're smart and farm up, you should have a good solid amount of cs throughout the game. So do I think that the ADC should rage when their support gets a kill? no. go farm some creeps, take dragon, take a tower, whatever. Your support just got a huge boost in their gold. they can get shit to help you. get 20 cs and you've got as much as that kill was, and in the downtime between the kills, they can back, get their gubs, come back, so you can go ham and get a double when your laners return While ADCs are good to have fed, you gotta remember you're still very much fragile. let your support be your babysitter and keep you alive. supports getting kills ensures that _someone _ gets the kill. it lets them do better at their job. don't get mad and rage your support for getting a kill.

I remember losing a game because I accidentally stole the first 5 kills from a Draven... and then he died and lost his stacks... still not really sure how that happened.

In normal circumstances tho, the difference between a kill and an assist in lane phase is only 150g. There's a reason you want that gold on the adc, but the real value of the kill is that the enemy misses cs/loses tower/can't contest drake so it really doesn't matter that much. And people who complain about ks in teamfights are ridiculous, at that point the whole reason behind teamfighting is so you can take more objectives.

People that bitch about supports taking kills don't have the best idea of what needs to happen in League of Legends. They seem to get confused and think we are playing Call of Duty.

Too many times I've played support, wanted to get an assist on a champion who is almost dead, with no escape, but end up killing the enemy because my team won't stop attacking them for a second. I run over as fast as I can, but my teammates are just trying to burst them down ASAP for some reason. Then I come over and last hit "WTF ARE YOU DOING YOU TRASH SUPP!" Just one basic attack, that's all I want. Could you stop trying to delete the enemy with no escape for a second so I can get an assist?

I'm usually pumping out damage and smashing abilities in a desperate attempt to keep someone alive. I'm actually sorry I got the kill, or a double or more, but I'm just glad you're alive. 'I'd have lived if you just let me last-hit him and lifesteal1 I'd have been fine!' Hindsight sure does make me look like I made a mistake, huh.

I've been yelled at too man times for 'omg why did you just stand there, kill him! I don't care if you get the kill, JUST KILL HIM' too.

Can't make anyone happy.

A support getting a kill and you getting an assist is 50% more gold for your team than if you had solo killed the enemy champ. It's not exactly explained anywhere that that's the case, so it's hard to fault people for not knowing.

I haven't seen that attitude since Season 3. Certainly since I got out of Silver, at least...

Maybe if the kill is secured and there is no way the opponent will survive, but not even then. Usually the mindset is "just get the kill."

In my experience the problem with the sup getting the kill instead of the adc means that the adc gets less gold which means it takes longer for the adc to get items. so if the adc is dead and you secure the kill that is great at least someone gets the kill and the gold and hopefully the adc get assist gold. but if your dueling it out and sup just happen to use their ability at the last second and the sup gets the kill the issue there is as a sup with the right amount of skill you should be able to know when to hold onto that ability rather than casting it if you know your adc will be capable of getting the kill. which will lead to not only a happy adc but a fed one with lots of items and carry potential.

When I'm support, I only take a kill if the ADC can't do it and I'm in range to do it.

I personally don't get mad when a support takes a kill as long as its not just griefing, and It saddens me every single time I see a support afraid to get a kill because an enemy sometimes ends up getting away when even an assist would have been better than nothing, and supports do need gold too.

It makes me really angry when I see players bashing the supports for no reason over a kill including when players rage just because a support gets a kill in a group fight, Well your support did nothing wrong, there is no reason they need to stop and say sorry for helping your mates.

I play Nami a lot, and used to hold off on healing because it bounces and gets kills until two games in a row the enemy ADC turned and erased my ADC who I thought was going to get the kill. Now I do not care who gets the kill so long as the enemy is dead. It's not worth the risk holding my heal so you can get the kill.

I feel that this is a problem with league because ive had one of an almost prefect game as support I went like 0/5/25 and my team was giving me crap at the end because of my kda win we were wining and I set my mid up for 7-8 kills after they came out of lane 0/6/2
