I just received a ban for 2 weeks for "mmr" boosting

Thread got deleted by a rioter rather than responded to hm. Told me that I should move it to somewhere more suitable like Miscellaneous where no one will see it. Had a bunch of comments attached to it too.

EDIT 1: Apparently I also get my border and all PREVIOUS ranked rewards revoked aswell. hoping for a response from the ticket and will be waiting a while according to the queue atm

EDIT 2: It seems others have had similar waves of bans regarding a whole range of reasons looking on reddit/forum and responses to their issues post. Hope this gets seen soon.

EDIT 3: After talking with a few friends about it since I'm not getting any responses on my ticket and this will be buried soon anyway RIPinPepperoonis, we have discussed a few possibilities:

The first is that it must be associating my account with any other IPS. There are three main locations I have played. Southampton, where I went Uni, London, where I stay at 2 separate houses and Prague, where my uncle and his son stays. Expand my lolking mmr Graph: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/euw/30188461 and you'll see a rise and fall graph since the start of the season where I'm placed low, go up, down and then back up into diamond again. My rise into diamond took place while I was in prague, where I play the least of all locations. Since I'm guessing this automated system uses that spike in a location rare to you to determine that this needs investigation, lets go a step further.

How does it the system determine whether or not that IP is linked to a boost? Probably if the IP itself is linked to MULTIPLE accounts with rare usage and a high spike it says you are a part of that circle. So basically you have to be aware of where you are playing since that place could hold an IP red flagged by riot and as such when you play a ranked game, (doesn't necessarily have to be a win) you could be penalized.

Original Message: During champ select in a team ranked game and a message pops up saying "you have been banned, account will now close." Looked at my emails and the email saying I had a ban had nothing attached to it, no reason apart from I was interfering with the code of conduct. Then got another email an hour later stating I was involved in mmr boosting. What are riot doing to calculate this?

Changes in my playstyle? choices in champion that practically change with the meta? I'm the type of player that when playing adc/mid im high risk high reward. I also have good games and bad games and haven't really moved anywhere for the past couple of weeks mmr wise. We all know what solo queue is like and the unpredictability of it. For example I switched mainly to adc currently for my ranked team and as a result play as much of that as possible. During downtime I practice in solo queue. What this means though is my mid is starting to suffer and I only feel comfortable on champions such as Ahri and Leblanc who I've mained for a long time.

Where i play? so when I visit my family and play and go on a winstreak?

Riot states that it is specifically the action of someone ELSE logging on to your account and playing a ranked match. So if they use the little habits and location as a way to identify eloboosting I can see why this works in theory for boosting from bronze to gold eg, but what happens say someone who is highly rated plays like dyrus top for his team and gets rekd. I've been diamond for about a year and a bit now peak being at diamond 3 and once this ban lifts I don't know if I can play solo queue if it means I'm penalised on every different choice I decide to make in game.

I now feel ridiculously vulnerable to not play well or at a consistent level and I don't know if anyone else feels the same way. It's like riot is watching how you play and if you do well in a certain meta/environment and drop off for some reason or in my case hover around the same level afterwards you go under review.

PS I'm not sure if my account is a part of the whole http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behaviour-en/Tmhs2EEn-urgent-issue-with-the-instant-feedback-system

Genuenly if anyone wants to scower my op.gg or look at my history from the dawn of time and ask about stats and records I'd be more than willing to talk about it. Tried looking for a number to talk to someone at riot but seems they don't like that kind of confrontation so an email and a board message it is..
