Creeps, maps, ARAM

I have a couple questions/inquiries. I've been playing for about a year now, love the game, but there are a couple elements that I feel have become really tiresome.

First creeps, is there any idea on a visual update on them? They feel chibi and outdated. I also feel like another breed of creeps or some sort've new element added to them would be generally appreciated.

Second, maps. I remember seeing a map (I can't seem to find it anymore) that showed summoners rift and twisted treeline and then a couple other undiscovered locations. Maybe I'm confusing it with the map of valoran but I thought maybe not. I think it would be extremely beneficial to the games longevity and my sanity if new maps and new game modes could be introduced. I see SR as being the normal game type, TT as a slimmed version of that, and Dom as a dominion type game. How about a capture the flag? Or juggernaut game type? I feel like either of these could be implemented fairly straight forward. I just want to be able to play something besides ARAM when I'm tired of rift.

And that brings me to ARAM. I really think there needs to a be deterrent added to help weed out dodgers in aram. I am so frustrated by joining a game, seeing a great comp or a great champ and getting so excited just to have someone dodge because either noone will trade or they ran out of rerolls. Dodging should not be a secondary form of reroll. I've seen someone somewhere say that forcing dodgers to play with the champ they had be given repeatedly until they actually commited to a game. Honestly I don't know how you would fix this but it is one of the most disappointing aspects of ARAM at the moment. Maybe increase the amount of time for dodging ARAM, or remove the option completely because honestly, you know what you signed up for when you clicked 'play'.

Big chunk, sorry to overload if I did. I love this game and I'd really like to see improvements to the game come in forms other than champs or nerf/buffs. I'm sure you guys are working on it already but if not, heres my 2 cents.

Regarding ARAM:

I agree that there is some frustration there with dodging, but I feel like it is hardly the biggest issue with ARAM atm.

However, this is coming from somebody who has played ARAM for a long time. Before ARAM was added as a matchmade game mode, people played it in custom games (a lot). And I can tell you from experience that dodging was 10 times worse in those custom games than it is now. Since they were custom games, you could leave and jump right back in without any sort of penalty. You could also see what the other team had, so if you saw, say, Blitz on the other team, you could dodge just because of that. At least this way, you only get people dodging based on their own team composition, rather than trying to avoid playing against 'x' champion. There also weren't any re-rolls, so you were stuck either trading or dodging if you had a champion you didn't want.

In my experience with the matchmade ARAM, the vast majority of my games have 0 or 1 dodges before they start. Every so often, I see 2 or 3. Any more than that is pretty rare. Compare this with custom games, where the average had to be 7-10 dodges before a game started. And I'm pretty sure somewhere right around 20 was my personal record for consecutive dodges seen before a game.

So, in the eyes of somebody like me, there has been a drastic improvement in the amount of people dodging games in ARAM.

Honestly, I feel like there is already enough penalty there. I think it locks you out of all queues for 30 minutes on the first ARAM queue dodge (I believe this is actually longer than the penalty for SR games). So you're basically given the option to sit out of any game for half an hour, or you can play it out in a game that'll likely last 20 minutes. Maybe even less if your team is so bad that you wanted to dodge.

ARAM is definitely not perfect right now. But I feel like if they handle some of the issues, dodging may go down as the other issues get addressed.
