My Border Disappeared?

I've been playing ranked flex for quite a while today, and this was the first game in which my border from season rewards isn't there. Is this a bug or is that supposed to happen? Because I think it's kind of stupid that I don't get to see my border in loading in the only ranked queue open until december after working to get it.

Technically flex queue is different from solo/duo queue so borders will be different for each. Like if I got gold in Twisted Treeline my gold border only shows in Twisted Treeline but my platinum solo queue border will be in Summoners Rift games. Now I am not a Rioter so I could be wrong.
