Role Popularity/Role Skill Shift

It feels as if the longer this season has gone on, the more I'm starting to see gradual shifts in popular roles (less popular roles) and skill gaps between roles.

The longer the season has gone, I've noticed top become much more popular, almost on par with mid, but I've seen the skill in top go way down and the skill in mid stay about even.

I have seen the popularity of support however go way down and the skill slightly increase (this is average, not on the whole).

I've seen the popularity of ADC slightly drop, but yet I've seen the skill of ADC go WAY down.

I've also noticed that Jungle has been about the same, but the skill seems to have evened out to an extent, but I've seen both way better junglers and WAAAAAAY worse junglers.

I'm sure these trends aren't 100% accurate, but just what I've noticed. What about you guys? Noticed any trends that are similar or differing to my experiences?

Also what role do you think has seemed to become the least popular (aside from support) this season?
