Yasuo's Wall: Clarity
DISCLAIMER: Do not downvote this because you hate the way the move works. I'm only explaining WHY it works that way. This information is 100% true, and needs to be known. I don't like how illogical some of the interactions are either, but this is only telling you how it is.
The issues in logic for its interactions with ground-based abilities is due to a very simple design choice made by Riot.
#The actual definition of a projectile: a body projected by external force and continuing in motion by its own inertia; especially : a missile for a weapon (as a firearm)
#Riot's definition of a Projectile: "Any ability that travels from point A to point B with time in between, regardless of whether or not it creates an AOE behind it."
There you have it. That's why the ability works the way it does. It may not be true to the real definition of a projectile, but video games are at liberty to use false definitions under the assumption they're using the word as a title. (Like calling Aurelion Sol's E a comet when he's going nowhere near comet speeds)
I'm not trying to justify the unfairness in the gameplay related to this mechanic; I'm only explaining to you why it works the way it does.
