This game is a waste of time. Time that should be spent with family and friends instead of sitting behind a computer screen. First hand I have seen the strain that this game has put on my relationship and family. No matter what I say he is addicted and chooses this game over me. He is willing to lose me and children over this game. He is going to hate me for this but I don't care anymore. Think about who you are hurting everytime you log in, the time you will never get back with those people.

Here's a good read if you are the parent of the user you are posting from. It may not exactly fit your case, but it gives you some information at least.

Having Leauge, or video games in general, as a hobby is just that, a hobby, but yes, it is possible to be close to addiction. You can be addicted to anything, and if you can't control it it can get in they way of more important things. If your son is having trouble seperating League and real life and is spending enough time offline, I don't think taking his account and posting in his name is a good idea. You need to have a talk with him at length about what is wrong, and then put fair limits down instead of just cutting him off. Complete cuttoff will backfire.

However telling other people what they do as a hobby or pass time is wrong and ruining their lives, you are going to get some hella nasty comments. It would be like going to a football practice and telling all the kids they are going to ruin their lives with possible injuries.
