How come dota2 has a middle eastern server and league doesn't?

I mean really, I know that geographical problems can be the main obstacle. To be transparent, the biggest challenge for the Middle East region is to find a server spot that improve latency for the whole region and to make sure there are enough CCU (concurrent players) at a given time to ensure reasonable matchmaking. But have you ever thought of Dubai? For example, if you put servers in Egypt, players in Saudi Arabia may have a worse ping because of Internet infrastructure: most connections from Saudi would through europe first before going back to Egypt. And vice versa.

But really can't you just see what dota2 did and do like them?

Valve is more willing to spend money than Riot, however seeing how HUGE Valve is I wouldn't say it's entirely Riot's fault.

But yes, it would be nice to have a server for everybody but prob not anytime soon I am afraid.

I believe that the main reason why EUW lags is because the Arabs population playing there. You can't deny that there are HUGE population of Arabs playing league and are increasing.
