Game on app store using LoL assets. Is this Riot approved?

So today I was browsing the latest games on the app store and I came across this. I was surprised and perplexed because it's fairly obvious that they're using chibi versions of LoL champions as well as some map assets. I was just curious as to whether this was kosher. Would love to know from a Rioter if it is or not.

I found a preview of it on youtube.

The app descript page says the game is free-to-play but the video shows there are monetary transactions within the game. Now, I would say that there are clear grounds for making a fuss about this even though champion names aren't explicitly used (as far as I can tell anyway) since it's pretty easy to compare the characters.

My guess is this would be okay if they removed the charging money part.

It's ok, they probably just made some simple changes to the characters. For example, the one in the screenshot is called "NOT Leona."

On a more serious note though, that's trade dress infringement.

I'll see who to ask about this, thanks for the heads up!

I like how they don't mention anything about League while using a bunch of stuff from League. "What do you mean that's from your game? No, they're not called Leona, they're called (insert random generic name here), not ripping off your guys's characters at all!"

Probably worth directly writing into player support to so they're aware, because I'm pretty sure this breaks Riot's policies on material use.

(Which by the way are basically "yeah whatever unless there's money involved or you're directly wanting to use the assets specifically created for the game in which case you've gotta get our express permission")
