There is a audio "homage" though.... Net is abuzz with theories....

Why would it?

It's the end of an era, there's no point in teasing the next arc of events when we just finished one several years in the making. They likely want to give us a bit of relief from arc fatigue. There is always more plot, always another movie to look forward to. Sometimes it's nice to just watch the credits and not need an incentive to sit through the hundreds of people who made this magic happen.
