On a more serious note, gaming should stop being so PC. I mean we shouldn't get too carried away, but back then, we sucked it up and kept playing like men.

Being PC is fine to an extend, same goes for the opposite. You shouldn't be excessively toxic in any situation and always try to at least stay polite or at least keep things playful and fun without needing to personally insult people, on the other side of things we also shouldn't be overly defensive and try to change yourself to better fit in with others, as that will come at the cost of personality and in a world where you'd try not to ever offend anyone, it's often easier to remain silent.
In any case, finding a middle road would be best, something light hearted and fun where people can still remain expressive without blatantly insulting others
