Did you know Garen can reach almost 100% tenacity with runes, boots and his kit?

Then he got knocked back, knocked into the sky and thrown around like a ragdoll with Ori's ultimate.

And yet all those knockups can't stop these sick spins.

Garen will just spin through the air like a helicopter made of pure justice

I wonder why they made knockups unaffected by CC.

It just makes tenacity useless a good portion of the time so they can buff it which makes all other forms of CC useless in turn.

pretty sure i just had a fed garen run at me at the speed of light a few games ago, he got real fed off of our cho and decided to pretty much 1 combo everyone. me as the poor JHIN couldn't even root him for more than o.2 seconds.[sg-soraka]

Honestly I think it's pretty cool that there are more options to add in tenacity to character's builds (so long as it comes at a decent opportunity cost)

Hard CC shuts down a lot of situations without very much counter to it, and it's now incredibly prevalent. And the fact that there is some CC unaffected by tenacity means you can't just go full tenacity never get CCed ever. More option to make more balance.

I dont know of another champion who is absolutely gutted from high elo play due to how easily cc kited they are other than garen, ill take it honestly.

No because tenacity is multiplicative and not cumulative.
