The sheer amount of Rengars that I've shut down when they leapt on my ADC from their ult with hard CC is epic.
Every time they are like:
"Fuck you, Nami!!!!!jfgikeksoanfod"
If your gameplay paradigm revolves around leaping on top of a squishy carry, you better bet your ass that the support is gonna be ready and waiting to pull the trigger on that CC.
I tend to prefer the 'ol "Nuke them faster than they nuke the ADC".
You'd be surprised how often assassins don't realize that "Oh, there's a Nasus right there I shouldn't go in", or "Oh, that Veigar has R ready and over a thousand AP".

Can't you do this with any form of knock up, knock back or displacement? Well rhetorical question, you can. What I'm saying is hooks are the least reliable way of catching her unless you're positioned in the straight line that LB is jumping so you don't have to try and catch her from the side.
