Now I doubt any of you understand what's really going on here but as the old saying goes, no publicity is bad publicity. Riot is masterfully playing their hand to make sure they hate on ALL genders, making female players feel unsatisfied for misrepresentation, non-binary players feel unsatisfied for no representation, and male players feel frustrated for being locked out of events.
Why would you have league's legacy be for having the most toxic player base when instead you could be the most toxic gaming company while simultaneously keeping your game alive through the absolute hate you're getting from all fronts.
It's nothing small from a stroke of pure GENIUS!
