I actually prefer normal cast, I used to play dota so what do I know.
Tbh quick cast with indicator is the best of both worlds.
I hate quick cast so much. I need to see the areas the abilities will hit
I prefer normal cast, its what I grew up on in the golden days of yore in Warcraft 3's many MOBA maps and I just find it difficult to transition.
The only exception I'll make is Rumble's ultimate as I've flubbed many an Equalizer before remembering to turning off Quick Cast.
It would be nice if we could have a "default" set of keybindings and overwrite specific bindings per character.
Some abilities I just don't use normal cast on even after this many years of playing the game. I still don't use it for
's rage cage or
's ult. Veigar's E is because where your cursor is is where you don't want to hit the enemy and Nami's ult is because I need to see how much area it will effect and it helps me estimate long range ults.
I tried going back to normal cast and it just feels so wrong to me when i use it for QWE and 4.
For my R i keep that shit on normal.
That way I can aim the fire carpet as rumble
Also I can move and make a good line path for kled.
I prefer normalcast but i use quickcast for some abilities. Like how you gonna play
on normalcast
Yasuo: Normal Cast? Is that a new brand of saké?
That feeling when you forget that Smart Cast isn't the default setting...
I greatly prefer Normal Cast over Quick Cast. I feel like I have infinitely more control over everything that I'm doing, and I've played this way since season 2. Quick cast to me just feels bizarre... With it, I'd end up missing every skillshot because I cannot choose where to aim. Being able to see exactly what the ranges are on my abilities, and select exactly where and when I want to use them just gives me so much greater control over what I'm doing rather than wildly firing off abilities simply by pressing a key.
It'd prove impossible to play my main champ
with Quick cast on. And that is a big fat "NO THANK YOU" for me.
