Like all of Zelda 2 (the sidescroller one). Such a weird game.

Water temple was easy, I donno why people freak out about it so much. I got lost more often in the forest temple.

I could never beat the last boss in Blood Rayne... For some reason I kept losing without dying and I couldn't figure out why. That one stood out to me the most.

I think the weapon in the desert on Final Fantasy VII was impossible to kill.

Final Fantasy XI - Absolute Virtue. It was an MMO, but the boss was impossible to kill because people's latency to the game was too big a delay to fight him properly. (When he used your ultimate ability, you had to use it within a second to lock him from using it again.) A couple teams managed to kill it with an exploit which was quickly patched. He remained undefeated (legitimate fights) until they raised the level cap in their game and introduced new, more powerful items.

Oh and the last hunt on Final Fantasy XII in the arena. I always had to go to bed or school before I could even finish fighting the darn thing. Maybe fights in games shouldn't take like 4 hours to complete?

The Water Temple, played it on a PC with the emulator. It was literally impossible to progress without cheating levitation because the longshot couldn't aim at the target I needed it to, leaving me one key short of finishing the godforsaken place.

The Lion King monkey puzzle. Even after I figure it out, I ended up dying somewhere and having to do it again.

The wholes of all 3 old (Pre-2000's) Ghouls and Ghosts games. My brothers loved those games, so I had to play them a lot too.

They had a friend in the neighborhood whose Dad had the 2 arcade ones on a cabinet he purchased, and he bought Super Ghouls and Ghosts for the friend's SNES.

When I was a young lad, I remember playing a Lilo and Stitch game. There was a level were it was just jumping platforms. It haunts me to this day.
