Balance team leader gets a brand new car, takes it apart claiming it's broken.
The head of the balance team decided that his car, despite being in perfect condition, needed to be fixed. He bought a few hundred bucks in spare parts, spent hours of his time trying to change parts and repairing mechanisms that worked fluently. By the time he felt he was done, the car was in pieces, couldn't run, and had a resale value with that of a bag of compost. He was proud of his work.
