Game Design Rework.

For over two seasons Game Design has been causing balance issues.

It can feel very frustrating for players due to a number of reasons.

Today I would like to discuss the future goals that we have in store for Game Design.

1: Removing some of the unneeded changes that Game Design does. We think that we have given Game Design a little too much uniqueness and should be taking some of that back. For those of you who do enjoy Game Design, we won't be removing all core aspects of Game Design. Just removing the extremely hard to balance features. Such as skillshots that do squishies full hp bars.

2: Removing some of the percent max damage/ damage reduction from Game Design. We have noticed that percent max damage and percent max damage reduction have caused some of the issues we are currently having in league. While making tanks scarier to deal with, they also make tanks able to kill DPS classes when left alone. We don't like this feature. So in the future expect us to be removing this feature from Game Design.

3: Finally, we will be making everything that Game Design does more visible. Nothing is more frustrating than not seeing something coming and being completely blindsided by it. Be it a Nidalee spear that was invisible, a blitzcrank hook from fog of war, or a naut drag that clearly missed. We believe we need some more clarity when it comes to Game Design. So we are going to have bigger and nicer discussions about our full thoughts on why certain things happen over other things.

This is probably what game design would look like if it were a champion getting reworked.
