I'm completely wondering where this meme format came from like, this movie has been out for years now what the hell
That's not top lane. That's soloQ in a nutshell.
Evidence: Last night our toplane DC'd 3 minutes into the game. Despite the enemy toplaner having free farm/turrets, we still won the game 4v5 pretty easily.
Proof that toplaners are useless and have no impact on the game.

Watching many ADC streams I've seen many top laners change the out come of the game by tping bot lane secure first turret and drag. If you get first tower, don't split all game in solo q your teams just going to 4v5 and get caught. Just roam if you're playing a tank you should be able to dive and tank towers for your team to do damage., even if not playing a tank you should be over leveled if ahead and be able to dominate the rest of the map when using tp wisely.
So get better, join fights earlier, and press your advantage. I for one am very tired of my top lamer getting his ass handed to him and having the enemy Fiora, Riven, Yasuo, Darius, etc. Run rampant through the team.
If you try to splitpush when you can 1v1 anyone and have tp to help team if they are losing 4v4; you are selfish and toxic. If adc, sup, jg, or mid leave team to 4v5 defend tower vs 5 fed enemies so they can free farm side lane, it's ok; they're doing it to help the team. If adc dies 1v1 splitting, it's unlucky and the team didn't back them up like they should have. If toplaner wins 1v1 splitpush... his team goes 0 for 3 in 4v4, loses tower, and flames top for not being grouped when they forced a fight vs the 4 enemies away from their tower. Toplaner dies 1v2 to a gank when enemy jungler ganks via avoiding wards; top is feeding. Jungler comes top, ignores pings that top can't help right now; jungle forces 1v1, dies and gives double buffs to enemy toplaner; toplaner is stupid toxic trash.

Play toplane and be farming / fight the laner/and then their jungler shows up/ and their mid also
If this happens, you failed to push your advantage around the map. 1 person doesnt win a game. You beat the other 1 person, the enemy team still has 4.
Something doesn't feel right. You imply that toplane is irrelevant. But that means if you stomp your opponent 1v1, you can freely push to their inhibitor tower and nobody will come to such an irrelevant lane to stop you. And if they do, then you're dragging attention away from those lanes that are relevant. Win-win. My guess is that you forgot (like most LoL players do) that this is a team game, and it's about destroying the nexus, not destroying your lane opponent.
I mean if you go a dueling splitpush with escape you can win the game through top
Usuallt yes these are bruisers who recently are shut down by tanks who dpnt generally carry they just exist to deny other tanks and any fighter at this point
So in a tank v tank toplane its completely unlikely to find the game carry in top lane
But if its like riven vs jax or.something
Well yeah you got yourself a potential deep shove either way

That's not funny. Maybe didn't paly trash champion, you might win. That's your problem.
It's not only top plane "problem". But the top lane turret is worth the least, so yeah, more chances to lose a game. Imo it's good actually that u still can win a game when enemies took down ur turret as first. But still, the bot lane which will take first bot turret wins the game.

As the person who gets stomped by the enemy I can say that, yes, this definitely happens.
