This is true. My father got addicted to downvotes. At first, it was just damn reposts. Then he started doing rework threads for popular champions. Eventually he made thread in Player Behaviour where he said sayin ggez and kys is fine. That was point when our family knew something isn't all right. Our fears have been justified. He got addicted to downvotes. He couldn't go a day without making a thread that would get downvoted. Eventually he started to get crippling depression whenever his posts didn't go into -20 in the first 10 minutes. Currently he is being taken care of in the Boards Institue for Upvote Farming, but I fear it may be too late for him to learn how to make "I hate ADCs" gameplay posts and he still haven't mastered the startegy of "Am I the only one who thinks this popular opinion that got already discussed in 1000 threads". It's like he doesn't even try anymore. Like he gave in to the abyss.
