and
there, from personal experience.
Something inside me thinks Yasuo with his windwall would be better support to me than Pyke with his grab. I already feel the corruption inside me.
The water and that the scroll resembles Pykes black list makes it even better.
You know what that means, Zed and Yasuo mains. You stand on the list. https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/XMryJxNfqvJO1hNwdFNflaro80o=/0x0:1920x1080/1200x800/filters:focal(804x95:1110x401)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/59693229/pyke.0.png You look familiar.
I’m a Yasuo main, and thought Pyke was awesome when I saw he was an assassin/fighter support. I was down to clown
this could not be more accurate
*autofilled zed/yasuo/rengar/kha/akali/fizz/kat/etc. players
I know this is a meme, but I personally believe Yasuo and Zed mains are two entirely different things that cannot coexist. The risks and philosophies and playstyles both have are just way too different. I can see good Pyke mains coming from the Zed community, but I can hardly see Yasuo players going good with Pyke.
...They will just go Yasuo "support".
honestly thinking about it, i can't remember the last time i saw a zed in my game.
He used to be super popular, but i guess a lot of other assassins have gotten good.
Having been an ex-support before a Zed main, I don't think I actually apply to this, since I can pull out Karma/Thresh/Braum. But Pyke... mmm... I might just take him mid while playing Zed support. :^)
What? what's wrong with my yasuo support pocket pick? I don't need pyke
Pyke wont be as op as you say since he is a melee support that can't get more hp, if you play against someone with poke you can lose lane easily.
You got me there

I thought it was just to fill the last niche that support hasn't been. We've had Mage supports, we've had Tanky/bruiser supports, we've had more compete utility supports, we've had CC supports, we've had wandering (I call them jungle supports since they offer more vision of the areas in question.)
Now with Pyke it's like support has a little bit of everything. Although I'd rather the direction of the game be any champion could be any role and a side role but blep, Riot is Riot. Instead of champions being able to be anything/everything now it's become more standard in the last few years to give them primarily a "This is the role they play in" for balance purposes I presume.
Edit: Also I enjoyed this post a lot.
I play nid support bc jaycr sucks as a support
