It would only be a coincidence if bans and promotions were random, so no, it wasn't a coincidence.
Clarifying: this was a joke, on the ladder up to plat I suddenly started seeing a lot more salty people in ranked games than I did in mid-gold, and was told it only got worse the farther I went up. I hate people who do anything that could tilt their teammates, but when it comes to trying to tilt the enemy.... I don't wanna ruin the game but tilting can lead to wins.
in all of the elos in the game, platinum has been proven to be the worst of all.
the egos of the players in that elo make me want to puke.
people actually think they are "good players" now.
from my point of view, platinum is literally the same as gold 3+ but they got lucky and promoted to plat 5.
the only time u see a difference between a plat player and a gold is when the plat hits diamond.
i fucking hate smurfing through plat.
