These are the moments of cultural exchange, religious tolerance and tribal friendship where nations rise in unity as Mr. Boards and Lady Reddit come up with one common thing to complain about in harmony.

Tbh, it’s upsetting to me that they took advantage of this and are getting away with it. I’ve spent money on this game (more than I care to admit), and a situation like this can’t help but make me feel like my collection is worthless in Riot’s eyes. So, I understand why people are pretty upset about it all.

(This is the first time I’ve commented on this whole thing, btw. Just felt a need to shed some light from one side.)

What is important is that Riot has taken steps to ensure this won't happen again in the future. I respect that and I respect the fact they own up to their mistake. From a technical point of view, not saying I know anything about riots databases, tools or processes It would be a rather large task to sort through all the people that had opened capsules and identifying the ones that got the capsules for 1 BE.

Thematically speaking, they should be reversed as Tony Stark is a billionaire and Captain America is... I guess middle class? He's not rolling in money anyway.

As someone that has spent most of his life relatively poor, and still managed to collect a measly 93 skins for the game, I just want to say that I am not upset in the slightest. I'm happy for those that were able to get a nice collection of skins, and I'm happy that Riot is letting them keep the skins. Though I am no longer in the financial situations I grew up and have lived in most of my life, I've been in situations where I had to grind like hell to get the cash for a skin I like on a character I like, and I love all of my skins for that reason. This doesn't detract from that at all. There's no reason to be entitled about this, be happy for people that caught a break, too few people ever do.

I thought the cost to buying every single rp purchasable skin was around $4,000+?

Instead of furiously itching my grundle while pouting about some guys who got lucky, I'm going on with my day like a normal person

They may of gotten free skins ... but they’ll never have the dank banner I have on Eclispe Leona. That is why I don’t mind, I support Riot and my love for the game.

But with that said, Riot messed up pretty badly lol. Won’t defend them because it was ultimately their fault for this mess.
