Riot has announced that players have placed lower than they ended last season, indicating their skills have dropped in the past week. "We can't explain this phenomenon," Phreak said. "Maybe it's the nerves. A new season is stressful for everyone. That said, you can expect suckier players in your elo." Many entitled players want to be back where they ended. "I'm sick of being in bronze," a bronze player whined to our reporters. "I was in bronze1 but got sent back to 5. I'm about to smash my computer!" Others, like Tyler1, were indifferent. "I couldn't (explicative) play anyway," he said. "I kept getting (explicative) banned so I have no (explicative) idea where I should (explicative) be." Smart players, like afmghost, stay out of ranked. "I'm only doing it for missions," he said. "I'm going to do my placements, get the xp, and get out."
