It feels really nice to use And even though electrocute does more damage pretty much across all aspects (there's a gameplay+ post on the math) the problem is the 50% hp requirement
Phreak mentioned in his preseason review that double dark harvest bot lane can do a bonus 100 damage at level 1. When most non tank champions have like 400-500 hp that's a huge amount of damage
Add the doran shield nerf and in lane phase against an aggressive dark harvest lane you're not going to be regenning much hp past the 50% mark
The question is will new bounty gold offset this aggression dominant early game
ngl its fun testing it on every champ and seeing ranges from "why did i take this" to "omg how is this legal" XD
This was legit me in my final game last night.
"Wait a minute...something bothering me about these teams...I Know! These Dark Harvest runes are being used by an all AD team! Enjoy your game loss, ladies."
It isn't actually the best rune on a lot of champions right now. Aftershock, Klepto, and Conqueror are still crazy strong on the champions that can abuse those and heavy farming junglers or ones that need predator for engage probably shouldn't take it either.
Dot champions/pet champions, champions that get a lot of value from Liandrys, champions that can get crazy amounts of AD, and probably some of the ones who can abuse ER as well are the ones who will get high value from it. I haven't run DH on Sivir yet but just knowing how busted Ricochet is with ER I imagine it becomes even more busted once you add DH onto it for team fights.
A lot of tanks and bruisers just aren't going to be able to get a high value out of it because they won't have the raw damage scaling numbers or chain killing potential throughout the course of the game to get ridiculous amounts of stacks to make up for it.
Still though super annoying to play against an entire team with it because of the multiple procs and a dumb keystone change that is likely going to get nerfed until it is worthless on everyone.
