Her counter is hard cc, and only a few mid laners have the targetted uncounterable cc. If your cc is a skillshot you'll lose. If you have no cc, you lose, unless you have a 100-0 click of the button...tibbers. you will lose. Fighting kat you have to disable your monitor and try to smell her, since using your eyes is actually a bad thing. She has an infinite free flash that resets anytime she touches a dagger and they drop more conveniently than dravens axes, only she can blink to them to reset the cool down and blink again, anytime she does damage another dagger spawns within 2 inches of your rectum, which she will be inside.

The only way to truely beat her. Is to defeat the player. Pick fiddlesticks, stack mr and cdr. Max your fear, ONLY FEAR. Anytime she moves, fear that bitch back to the stone age and proceed to laugh until your passive kicks in.
