What makes you think Taric is gay? To my knowledge, Taric's preferences have never been stated either way (if he even still has any after his experience on Mount Targon).
The problem is that it was never said that Taric is gay. We just thought he is bcs of his behaviour and... GEMS!! With Neeko the rioter just went on twitter and said "yeah so she is gay... don't ask me why she just is. when i started her I wanted to create a gay champion. it was not an afterthought at all. not at all"
Because neeko can shapeshift into

or literally any other female champ.
Neeko being gay means nothing. R34 will still have her taking as much dick as Tracer, and it affects nothing in game. Within her lore it MIGHT eventually matter, but it's not in there atm so who cares?

Getting upset about it is pointless, every champion, and I mean EVERY champion is straight to someone and gay to someone else, and Riot taking a side doesn't change anyone's view.
